From demolition and groundworks to services, specialist finishes and joinery, artisan craftsmanship, through to state-of-the-art audio visual and environmental control systems. From complicated basement extensions and façade retentions, to simple cosmetic refreshments and redecorations.

We appreciate that each project often comes with it’s own particular challenges – and we help our clients to develop and employ effective ways of managing them.

We recognise that despite the prestige and high value involved with many projects we work on, the need to obtain value for money and achieve a fair deal for our clients remains undiminished. We look out for our client’s interests as if they were our own.

Private Home Cadogan Square

Project: Refurbishment and extension of a private home
Value: £7 million

This project involved a basement extension including swimming pool, rooftop extension and full refurbishment. The project was split into two phases to allow structural works to progress whilst the interior fit-out was designed saving on overall programme time. The project included a new cantilevered stone staircase through the whole building, high-quality joinery and stone finishes, extensive audio visual and environmental control systems.

Private Home Berkshire

Project: Country Estate Remodelling
Value: £30 million

This was an estate wide remodelling and refurbishment project with multiple projects running simultaneously in order to de risk the project and deliver to the clients programme. The works comprised of the following;

The construction of a basement extension followed by full refurbishment of the listed Victorian gothic mansion; incuisve of the restoration of historic fabric and finishes such as lime plaster, fibrous plaster, joinery, fireplaces and mosaic flooring and the integration of new specialist finishes, joinery, audio visual and environmental control systems.

The construction of a swimming pool, spa and gym building. Refurbishment of three existing cottages on the site to provide accommodation for the Estates Manager, Housekeeper and Head Gardener. Extensive landscaping comprising formal garden works, remodelling of the lake, repositioning the tennis courts and works to main and secondary drives

Provision of an estate-wide heating system comprising the conversion of an existing machinery barn into an Energy Centre housing biomass boiler plant, ground source heat pumps, full internal specialist acoustic plant enclosures plus the provision of heating main pipes and trenches across the estate grounds to serve the various buildings

  • Assistance to the Project Manager to establish the project programme and phasing, reducing project risks, and keeping the client fully in control of their expenditure at all times
  • Allowing them to make changes during the course of the project without incurring additional expenditure due to delays.
  • Control of the post-construction Fixtures, Furnishings and Equipment (FF&E) budget for the client involving close liaison with the interior designer.

We have respected that most of our private clients – quite understandably – prefer that we do not openly disclose images and details of their homes. For privacy, examples of such projects have been limited to those who are happy for images to be disclosed.
